Father arrested for defiling his 14-year-old daughter
Police in Homa Bay on Tuesday arrested a 45-year-old man who is accused of defiling his 14-year-old daughter at Andingo village.

The suspect is being detained at Ndhiwa police station as the children service department and police waif for a medical report before arraigning him.

According to the area Chief Samson Owili, the suspect has been defiling the grade five pupil in his bed at night.

Owili says that the suspect had separated from his wife and he took advantage of the absence of the wife to defile the girl.

The administrator explained that the girl had been disappearing from home to avoid being defiled by the father. On Monday when she went to school, the teachers interrogated her on why she is always absent from school. She revealed to them what has been happening at home.

The pupil has been taken to hospital where he will be examined before the suspect is arraigned.
